UX Design Student March 2017 - July 2017

Solo Project: Peace Coffee

• Peace Coffee came to me stating that their in-store experience of shopping for coffee needs to align with the ex- perience of drinking coffee. Right now the shopping experience for coffee is mundane, not unique, not innovative and not engaging. It needs to entice, educate and connect meaningfully to the customers just like it does when you drink it.

• I chose to work on the in-store experience and designed a strategy around environmental holidays. Utilizing those days to promote Peace Coffee flavors, climate change and the supply chain

• I utilized the following UX methods and tools to complete this project; Survey, Mental models, Annotated wire- frames, InDesign, Photoshop, Sketch, Keynote

Group Project: Andy Masis, DPT at OrthoRehab Specialists

• Our client came to us with a broken process for building, executing and documenting a functional assessment for a patient. It is slow, unprofessional and disorganized. He asked us to streamline this process to better inform referring physicians, surgeons, insurance and patients.

• Working with 2 other UX professionals we designed and prototyped a web based application that the client could use when conducting a functional assessment. This tool allows the user to add patient information, referring physician information, build an assessment, conduct a functional assessment, print and email a clean and professional summery document that can be sent to Dr’s, surgeons, coaches, insurance and patients.

• UX methods and tools that we used to complete this project; Stakeholder Interviews, Contextual Inquiry, Affinity diagraming, Pen & Paper, Sketch, InVision, and Keynote. Ortho Rehab Specialists
