Monitor and control scope, schedule, and budget for small to medium-sized projects ranging from $20K - $1M+ in budget. Coordinate and complete communications and change management. Ownership and assignment of risks and issues with appropriate responses created. Escalate change requests to Sr. Leadership team within department for approvals.
Led Agile team as Scrum Master in support of multiple small (<$25K) concurrent production and compliance fixes. Team would regularly roll out two to three fixes per week. Agile methodology increased through-put 300% vs. previous Waterfall methodology.
Based on Sr. VP demand, set up technology systems in an aggressive 10-week period to support new HR policy. Team implemented work-around processes until Technology could be put in place due to company-wide release schedule.

Rolled out emergency communications network (via text messages and phone calls) for Child Development Centers and U.S. Retail store employees. Implemented Third Party Vendor solution, and drove completion of contracting with the vendor, technology security reviews, business requirement gathering, vendor implementation, testing, and communications.
Implemented financial chargeback model for on-campus Copy Center, which was previously available for free. Effort included transition management communications, financial and auditing process creation, and website modifications to display costs.
Worked with Third Party Vendor to create new department website.

Promoted from Project Manager to Sr. Project Manager, earned PMP and Change Management Certifications while in this role.
Allocated to a merger and acquisition integration team, to work in both business and IT environments. Approved annual budget of $8M+. Specific roles and duties included working with HR, Marketing & Branding, Risk Management, Resource Management, and communications. This work was highly strategic and tactical, consisting of 9 separate tracks of work containing 60 separate projects with many dependencies between projects.
Completed rotational job opportunity meant to increase management capabilities. Led team of 7 – 10 direct reports to 95% accuracy and timeliness scores. Increased internal functional capacity by creating recommended work approach and part-time offsite/satellite office work.
Created new business capability to use incoming data to create 10 new reports which are utilized in claim adjudication, underwriting, and enrollment services. Responsible for defining priority and backlog of additional reports, and keeping senior management stakeholders informed of status. Also involved in creation of security protocol for report access. Reports are now used by over 700 users, with average daily report creation of over 150 reports per day.

Served in multiple roles during this time, including as a Transition Team Member when Commercial Banking division was closed, a Sr. Training Design Specialist, and Project Analyst.
Recruited by manager to lead the training team into a blended learning approach. Developed subject matter expertise in moving away from instructor-led training and into web-based training and design. Designed, developed, tested, and published four web-based asynchronous instruction modules which lowered cost of training per student 35% while maintaining excellent-rated (4.5 out of 5) customer survey scores.
Main liaison between business and IT team members to add functionality to the teller platform used at all 1,500 WaMu Financial Centers to meet Commercial Banking requirements. This project required an ability to influence senior management to sponsor the functionality upgrade.
