EXPERIENCE HIGHLIGHTS
BOSCH CHASSIS SYSTEMS, LTD, Pune, India, June 2016 - July 2016
Mechanical Engineering Intern
Worked as a Mechanical Engineer to solve a long standing problem, with the material handling system, in the Manufacturing Stream Convention department.
Key Accomplishments:
Successfully re-designed and re-modeled material handling system which resulted in reducing inventory by 6%.
Designed and optimized the flow cycle of the material which reduced the transportation time. Designed and implemented the baskets to carry the components utilizing AutoCAD.
BHARAT FORGE LTD, India, June 2014 – May 2015
Project Intern
Held responsibility to conduct the energy audit on the electric furnace located in the machining components department.
Key Accomplishments:
Diagnosed electrical, and mechanical system using a variety of equipment, studied the furnace, the energy system, and heat distribution of the furnace, which resulted in energy savings of 13.71%.
Developed strategic solutions to save the most energy, validating results manually as well as practically, after identifying problem areas and factors that were causing losses.
INOXPA INDIA PVT LTD, India, Dec 2013 – Jan 2014
Mechanical Engineering Intern
Collaborated and assisted the design team to optimize time required to assemble the product.
Key Accomplishments:
Reviewed specifications and needs, and handled problems from the manufacturing department regarding components and their drawings.
Studied specifications to identify design flaws, and provide re-design for lean manufacturing.
Created and developed work instructions for speedy assembly of the product.
PROJECTS
2017 – Closed Loop Dc Motor Position Control Mechatronics 2
Built a circuit utilizing Arduino microcontroller to control the position of a DC motor.
Used a position feedback sensor, and PWM output signal, in conjunction with an H-bridge amplifier circuit.
2016 – Dynamic Analysis of Multi Fingered Robotic Hand – CAE
Designed a CAD model of a multi fingered robotic hand in SolidWorks, and carried out inverse dynamics, finite element analysis, kinematical analysis and vibration analysis and validated the results.
2016 – Analysis of Factors Affecting the Sound Quality of Cellphone Speakers – DAE
Designed a 2ˆ4 factorial design to find factors affecting speaker quality, and constructed regression equation for finding the rating of quality of sound from speaker using MINITAB.
2016 – UR5 Based 3D printer
Designed a free form 3D metal printer, by attaching an extruder to the UR5 robotic arm. Simulated the working of the printer by utilizing RoboDK Software and Solidworks in the design process.
2015 – Analysis of Mechanical Damage in Underground Pipes – FEA
Analyzed damage caused to the underground mechanical pipes using ANSYS.
Validated the stress and strain caused in the pipe due to earth loading manually as well as using ANSYS.
