RESPONSIBILITIES:

Job responsibilities as a Security

Liaises with client and maintains client relationship on high level by ensuring high quality service delivery, adherence to Company and client polices and procedure.

Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.

Liaising with the emergency services, police, ambulance and fire service to resolve issues and maintain security and service.

Undertake single person internal and external patrolling on foot or using vehicular means (including cycles).

Attend and pro-actively deal with any Security, MEP and Cleaning-related incident, as directed by facilities management staff.

Deal professionally with victims of crime and individuals in confrontational situations. It is expected that individuals committing crimes at the University will be observed, detained or arrested at the officer’s discretion awaiting the arrival of the Police.

Carry out special duties, e.g. in connection with degree days, open days, student or staff demonstrations and attend and assist at any emergency incident as directed by the Security Services Supervisor, Manager or deputy.

Record all incidents in the appropriate format and write concise and accurate incident reports as necessary.

Task remedial and preventative action in the event of in an incident to protect the Client and Company.

Responsible for the immediate welfare of the staff on site.

Responsible for result on site, protects assets against all threats and keeps statistics of effects of service.

Brief the incoming team about the required work for the next shift and problems that occurred during the previous shift

Report any matter to the Operation Manager immediately.
