EDUCATION

Completed High School in the year of 2009 from Troy High school, MI.

Graduated with a B.Sc. from ETSU with a 3.97 GPA in 2013, and an Associate’s degree in health Information Technology from Kaplan University online with GPA of 3.98 in 2015.

EXPERIENCE

Volunteered at Troy Bharatiya Temple from July 2006 to August 2006. Duties included office work consisting of Xeroxing, filing, and organizing. .Volunteered at a local church, doing office work, such as data entry involving inputting phone numbers, filing papers, organizing papers etc. This was from February 2009 to March 2009.

Volunteered at a speech-language pathology clinic in Kingsport,TN. Duties included making flashcards for clinicians, Xeroxing, laminating, helping clinicians organize toys and notebooks. This was from May 2010-June 2010. Hours averaged around 50 hours.

Avalon Hospice in Knoxville,Tn from October 2015 to November 2015. Duties included medical data entry, filing, and scanning and Xeroxing. Continued volunteering at Avalon Hospice one day a week until June 2017.

ARG Professional Staffing. Worked for Team health in Knoxville,TN for two weeks in February of 2016 doing medical records filing and scanning.

Volunteer at Family Medicine West, Knoxville from June 2017-Present. Duties include scanning patient documents into EMR. Continue to volunteer Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 1:00-5:00 P.M.

EXTRA-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

Have been learning and performing two styles of Indian classical Dance for over 20 years.

Have performed solo performances across several states in US and in India.

Have raised funds for many charities through dancing, such as the American Red Cross, Boys and girls incorporated, Eureka child relief fund, Aim for seva, Asha for education.

Have won prizes in dance competitions across USA.Won an Honorable Mention Award in the National Foundation Advancement Arts (NFAA).

Goal is to pursue Indian classical Dance professionally along with my academic and career goals as well.
