American LegalNet is a legal software company that provides innovative, high-quality legal software, content and services to the legal industry.

The company’s main product is a web application hosted in IIS and written in C# called eDockets.

I am responsible for the following:

Co-writing and overseen the automation of the web application with CodedUI by creating a system that reads XML test plans in C#.

Co-writing the LauncherUI, an application written in C# designed to execute the XML Testplans.

Building the testing team from scratch, hiring new talents to a team that had no members.

Software Engineer in Automation

Varonis specializes in Data Governance suites that help organizations manage and protect their unstructured and semi structured data in an easy to do one stop shop solution.

I was responsible for the following:

Develop and maintain the automatic testing environment for new and existing testing plans.

Planning and developing new infrastructures to features that hasn't been automated yet for both engine and UI testing, the test Launcher was built in Visual C# and the automation engine was done with TestComplete and VBScript, the engine would read XML test plans and run the automation accordingly.

Maintaining and supporting the QA team with existing automation and on the spot help for issues found in automation testing environments.

Tools used for automation: TestComplete and TestExecute, scripts writing in VBScript (for UI testing), developing the corresponding XML documents to run those scripts and supporting new features in the Varonis's proprietary automation tool.

Senior Test Development Engineer

The company specializes in developing flash memory solutions. I was responsible for the following:

Automating the entire firmware testing test plan using an automation environment called Test Shell Studio by Qualisystems.

Test Development Engineer

Writing, implementing and running Test Plans for firmware testing of SanDisk’s embedded products, development environment included Python, C++ and a proprietary test development tool called scripter.

Analyzing and reporting tests results including opening new bugs and issues (Jira, PVCS).
