Worked as Project In-Charge and Site In-Charge in M/s Ecological Development Consultancy Pvt Ltd., Bhubaneswar, Odisha, from October 2012 to November 2014.

Worked as Environmental Scientist in M/s Sun Consultancy and Services, Bhubaneswar, Odisha from May 2012 to September 2012.

Underwent industrial summer training at National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC), Kaniha, Odisha. (May - June, 2011).

Technical Lead in Environmental monitoring works (Ambient Air Quality, Fugitive and Stack Emission) of more than 20 production and 8 mining industries

Sampling and Analysis of environmental parameters (Air, Water and Soil)

5.0 RESEARCH EXPERIENCE

Presently working as Senior Research Fellow (SRF) at Gujarat Institute of Desert Ecology (GUIDE), Bhuj Gujarat (From November 2014). The focussing research areas are as follows:

Phytoextraction of precious and other groups of metals

Remediation and restoration of contaminated soil of mine and other sites with heavy metals

Air pollution strategies in mining and industrial areas, indexing, influential parameter analysis and mitigation

Meteorology, influence and correlation with pollutants and mitigation

Ground/surface water contamination, monitoring and mitigation

Metal dynamics and uptake strategies by hyperaccumulators

Adsorption of heavy metals from waste water and aqueous solution using conventional and non-conventional biosorbents

6.0 PROJECT WORKS CARREID OUT

Presently working in a Department of Science and Technology (DST) sponsored project entitled “Metal uptake and stress responses in chelate assisted phytoextraction process, effect of soil type, metal concentration and co-metal ions”.

Carried out a project on “An assessment of The Impact of Bentonite Grinding mill dust on the surrounding Farm Lands at Bhadai, Kachchh, Gujarat” during August 2016.

Carried out a project on ‘Biological Aspects of Guneri Inland Mangrove: A proposed BHS’ at Lakhpat, Gujarat” during September 2015.

Associated with a project on ‘Regional Environmental Impact Assessment and Ecological carrying capacity of Gulf of Kuchchh, Gujarat, India’ during June to November 2016.

Carried out the research project in M.Tech. programme entitled “Study of air pollution and air pollution in Sukinda Valley of Jajpur District, Odisha”.

Carried out a Project entitled” Possible causes of higher dust concentration in some of the monitoring stations surrounding the Mining lease area of South Kaliapani and Gandhamardan region of M/s OMC Ltd”.

Carried out a project on “Concentration of hexavalent chromium (Cr+6) in and around the mining lease area of m/s OMC Ltd” as per the instructions of Odisha State Pollution Control Board (OSPCB).
