Catalyst Rx is a chain of pharmacy stores across USA. The scope of the project is to Build and implement a new standalone PBM client billing and pharmacy payment system capable of supporting federal and state prompt payment laws scheduled to go into effect on January 1, 2010.

Responsibilities:

Designed and developed ETL jobs using IBM Infosphere Datastage 8.7 to extract, transform and load the data into SAP.

Worked with the existing jobs to convert them into the GRID environment where they can be run in parallel.

Achieved the performance tuning of datastage jobs by utilizing the grid implementation(by creating a dynamic config file at run-time)

Developed Job Sequencers with restart capability for the designed jobs using Job.

As part of the ‘Sears BI Enhancements’ effort, a comprehensive customer profile reporting environment is needed to support the needs of the BU in understanding customers’ experiences and in tracking progress towards customer programs.The main Aim of the Project is to integrate additional customer data into the Netezza reporting layer to be available within 24 hours from a daily feed and architect for performance to enable running customer dashboards, profiles and individual customer P&L reports that are comprehensive of all the customer’s SHC experiences. Data will be accessible for ad hoc and canned reporting by the Micro Strategy application linked to the Netezza data environment at user acceptable performance standards.

Responsibilities:

As a Data Warehousing team member, Involved in designing, developing and testing of the ETL (Extract, Transformation and Load) strategy to populate the Insurance Data from various source systems feeds into Client Hub Database using Datastage Transformers, Routines and Unix Shell scripts.
