PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Environmental Tectonics Corporation, Southampton, Pa 2015 – July 2017
Military Contractor, Developer / Manufacturer of Flight Training Simulators for Fighter Pilots
Developed drawings for all electrical systems required for the operation of the advanced flight training human centrifuge. Systems ranged from medical monitoring of subject to projection of flight simulation graphics. Schematics and wiring diagrams were developed detailing wire type, termination, and routing of wiring. Developed electrical panels for the termination of wiring. Coordinated with production personnel during product integration to develop most cost effective design.
CONSULTANT 2014 – July 2015
Provided harness and cable verification test code and fixture design for testing machine i.e. DIT-MCO. Testing was completed to verify integrity of harness/cable continuity, dielectric (Hi-Pot) and insulation resistance parameters have been achieved.
EXELIS, Warminster, Pa 1995 – November 2013
Military Contractor, Developer / Manufacturer of Weapon Release Systems
Engineer III 2009 – 2013
Served as program engineer for a Navy and Air Force weapon release system. Provided engineering support to production floor, trained personnel in testing at subcomponent and final assembly levels as well as customer provided test equipment. Provided failure analysis on nonconforming material. Reviewed test data from Environment Stress Screening. Developed process documentation and conducted testing for FAAT and LOT, developed final test report to customer. Inspected and tested all returned material from customers verifying return issues. Interfaced with supply contractors for part obsolesce and documentation questions.

EXELIS (Continued)
Developed a process in which a high pin count device was to be removed from a PCB with primary goal of minimizing damage to board. Effort successful in returning 90% of boards back to service.
Developed electrical harness testing software, process and fixture for wire harness testing. Provided high degree of harness verification, identifying wiring errors and termination issues. Eliminated manual continuity verification process, reducing inspection time by 1.5 hours.
Developed potting process and fixture, reducing prior process time by 30 minutes and overall quality of end item improved.
Production Engineer 2001 – 2009
Interfaced with production and quality assurance. Collaborated with engineering, resolving defect reports. Drafted documentation presented at engineering review in resolution of issues.
Redesigned cable eliminating prior design longevity issue, redesign of cable significantly increased cable life. Redesign incorporated the ability to repair item, thereby reducing customer costs.
Developed concept for wire harness retrofit bracket, to piggyback on existing enclosure, eliminating need for costly rework and allowing successful completion of customer test requirements. Eliminated additional costly testing efforts.
Developed adaptor harness and process, permitting reprogramming of processor assembly in standalone fashion, eliminating installation of assembly into a host system there by reducing reprogramming time by 30 minutes.
Shop Supervisor 1999 – 2001
PC Board Layout Designer 1995 – 2001
