Objective

To sail as a cadet for the established time in order to complete STCW 2010 requirements for navigation officer’s license. On any ship or vessel which accepts me to work with multi-crew to gain experience onboard and allows me to demonstrate and practice my leadership and academic skills acquired throughout the years of study at MMTC.

15th JUNE – 09th JULY 2016:

Deck Cadet on TS Sakhonwisai (Training Ship) for 25 days.

-Steering by OOW’s order and maintain ships course.

-Berthing and unberthing.

-Helping to moor the ship by handing lines.

-Tank Sounding (fresh water and ballast water).

-LSA/FFA Maintenance.

-Finding and plotting ship’s position by Gyro bearing, GPS, Radar and Celestial Navigation.

-Passage planning.

-Assist officer of the watch.

-Record weather forecast from NAVTEX in GMDSS log book.
