Led the vision and strategy of building a complete retail program in Durable Medical Equipment for a leading non profit, home health care provider across five southeastern states. Completely revamped existing retail space and procured 24 new locations (1000 1500 sq. ft). Researched and met with all DME vendors and selected merchandise based on HH clinician’s and outside patient survey. Developed uniformed retail floor plans including all new fixtures and merchandised planograms. Designed and launched internal and external retail promotions and printed materials that highlighted products based on safety, comfort and wellness features. Developed multi media marketing campaigns to reach targeted demographics. Implemented inventory control systems & POS systems. Negotiated dropship programs to offset limited warehouse and retail space. Created sales associates job description and developed AHC’s first retail commission structure. Developed AHC’s first DME retail training program and trained 24 stores, including management. Successfully carried vision and retail’s mission statement to 5 state regions and over 1000 employees. Assisted in acquisitions of competitive DME retail organizations. Negotiated pricing and outsourcing for these buyouts. Was utilized throughout the Southeast to train and turnaround underperforming stores. Ranked number 1 for outside vendor diamond shows with vendor, Dana Jewelers. Managed staff of 12 including office staff and worked exclusively with in house bench Jewelers to create custom pieces which resulted in high volume repair and customized pieces.
