History
I am a graduate of Sam Houston State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice. I have strong computer and office skills including Microsoft word and keyboarding 70 WPM. Along with having a positive attitude, I enjoy learning new skills, and am willing to take on any task needed to contribute to the team to complete the task. Working well with others is one of my strong points, but I am also capable of working independently if that is what the task requires. Employment
Lake Management Services - Field Crew Member. July 2015 thru May 2016. Responsible for applying herbicides and algaecides to lakes in surrounding areas as well as fountain repairs and removal. Map lakes as well as record size, type, and number of species of fish. Responsible for running panels and changing out lights as well as general lake maintenance. Vulcan Materials - Dredge Operator/Plant Operator. May 2014 thru April 2015. Responsible for all aspects of dredging operation to extract materials from the Brazos River. Not only gained experience in dredging and plant operation, but also gained experience in operating forklift, bobcat, water truck and hand tools.
Texana Center MHMRA – Service Coordinator II. May 2010 thru June 2012. Responsible for individually monitoring progress for a caseload of 40+ individuals with mental health disabilities. Service coordination serves as an advocate to ensure that the client and family remain satisfied with all services and supports provided through the HCS program. I developed close relationships with clients and their families while monitoring their services. This position required strict deadlines, working independently, and strong computer skills.
