EXPERIENCE

Accutek Testing Laboratory 1st and 2nd co-op terms, Fall 2013 and Summer 2014 Participated in design and production of a custom made, world class POD machine for testing biomedical polymers. Created a 3D CAD model of entire design and created 2D drawings for manufacturing. Performed structural analysis on key components to ensure quality of design. Managed $150,000 worth of POD projects at the end of 2nd term.

Element Materials Technology 3rd thru 5th co-op terms, Spring 2015 to Summer 2016 Custom Testing Department

Trained a full time engineer on tribology work and POD testing. Independently managed custom testing jobs such as pressure testing at 50,000 psi, flexural fatigue of flat bar specimens, and static compression of glass. Collaborated with supervisor and team to troubleshoot engineering challenges. Designed necessary fixturing for testing and communicated regularly with clients with updates on progress. Managed up to 7 projects at a time during the final months. Experience with ITAR controlled projects.

FIRST Robotics Competition Every Spring since 2013 Volunteered at the Queen City Regional competition. Included building the competition field, repairing the field between matches, resetting game pieces between matches, and tearing down the field after competition. Skills:
