Avada Hearing Care: July 2006 to April 2013
My title was Patient Care Coordinator, I worked the office for two hearing clinications. My duties included opening and closing the office daily, answering phones, greeting patients, having patient fill out patient forms, checking on insurance, cleaning and changing hearing aid batteries, repair slips, collecting payment for new hearing aids, transmittal records to corporate office, weekly battery counts, scanning and faxing records, using copy machine, sending out confirmation letters, calling to verify appointment times. Copied and mailed out medical records, as well as filing records and x-rays
Advanced Data Comm: September 2000 to July 2006
I was a telemarketer, working on inbound call verifying that a customer was changing their local and long distance carriers to new ones. Outbound calling, giving away and renewing free magazines subscriptions to business. I was on an outbound project for the American Medical Association, calling medical facilities and renewing orders for their coding books. Also worked on an inbound project called Figi's, taking orders for holiday deli trays and fruit baskets, inputting their information in the computer and reading all information back to customer.
I was employee of the month for the months of November 2001 and December 2005. I was given Going the Extra Mile Reward for helping organizing a fundraiser for an employee who lost everything in a house fire. We collected a lot of money as well as donated clothing for her and her family.
CJ Florist: February 2000 to July 2002
This was a part time job, I started out delivering flowers, than designing, answering phones, taking orders, ordering flowers, using credit card machine, cash register. I was made manager and worked there until they closed.
Superior Street Chiropractic Office: September 1986 to October 1999
I worked for four Chiropractors. My duties were to open and close daily, answer phones, greet patients, have patients fill out forms, check on insurance coverage, handled hundreds of dollars daily, deposit slips, daily posting of patient visits and well as payments, did quarterly payroll taxes, year end taxes and well as W2 forms. I was taught how to do electrical stimulation on the patients that required it. I also did the billing for each Dr. to insurance companies and patient billing. Posted all incoming payments. Also copied and mailed out patient records.
Fitger's Inn: November 1984 to 1986
I greeted all customers, checked them into their rooms as well as checked them out. I answered phone taking reservations. I was made Front Deck Manager, and my duties for manager were to hire new front desk persons and bellmen. Training new hires. Solving problems that arise. I worked the cash register, phones, credit card machine.
Edgewater East Motel: 1973 to 1980
I started out working in the laundry, then transferred to the front desk. My duties included greeting customers, checking them in and out of their rooms, answering phones and taking reservations, taking reservations for the conference room and making sure it was set up. Also kept an eye on the swimming pool to make sure the little kids swimming has their parents with them. I also worked in the office doing credit card billing, posting payments, and bank deposits.
