Project: Supply Chain Optimization. End to end Supply Chain Strategy and Network Design.
Successfully designed a unique business process, strategy and decision methodology to produce a final product with the minimum cost and energy consumption.
Mathematically modelled supply chain strategy in manufacturing and logistics systems and simultaneously optimized it with minimum warehousing costs.
Hosted events for the centre, also met and communicated with professors, doctors and other PhD students to discuss new ideas.
Attended a number of conferences and presented my work to respected academics in the field.

Process Optimisation Manager
Gousto is a start-up food company (“recipe in a box”) which has grown rapidly since its launch in 2012. In this project based role:
Designed a new way of managing the repacking process (within the manufacturing site) to make it easier and more efficient.
Introduced and integrated S&OP processes and created a dashboard for the business.
In replacing the existing ERP system, I supported the cross functional team to map the AS IS and TO BE process.
Made structural process changes to the business to reduce errors in the cross functional information flows.
Project managed, planned and executed a challenging process change from batch to continuous process. Worked cross functionally to map out a unique continuous process including timelines.
2012 – 2017 Iglo Group (Birdseye), London
2014 – 2017 Senior Category Planning Manager, Strategy and Operation, and IT Lead
Supply chain project management: Worked closely with external consultants and cross functionally on end to end supply chain projects from a strategic and operational point of view. With 100% success rate on every project from £500K to £3m working capital a year was saved on manufacturing, warehousing and logistics functions.
S&OP restructuring - regularly met with the group director to discuss potential changes in the S&OP processes that everyone could benefit from.
Supply Chain IT project manager: Worked on the Darwin project which was the launch and implementation of the Sales Planner system across the UK. The first stage of the project cost £2 million followed by an additional £800K stage for new features, improvements and training of staff. The next step was to roll out to all of the European offices.
Supply Chain IT Mentor: Coaching all the supply chain team (over 20 people) on Sales Planner, SAP and Excel models as required. Looking into potential improved functionality in SAP and Sales Planner.
Met Clients (retailers) to discuss their warehouse capacity, display structure, and make recommendations that would benefit us both.
2012 – 2014 Category Planning Manager and IT Lead
Managed the biggest category with a turnover of c£180 million.
Demand/ Supply Planner: In charge of demand forecasting (made sure the correct forecast was implemented, especially for factory production planning) and supply planning for our 3rd party suppliers.
Platinum product launch: worked on 3 Platinum product launches with an incremental value of approximately £5million to the business.
Successfully introduced a new category (Breakfast) to the UK and Ireland business. This category brought £12 million incremental value to the business.
Managing the S&OP meetings for the Irish business.
Mentored junior demand planners
Presented to the CBU team (cross functional) and faced/responded to challenging questions re monthly forecasting and potential growth.
