Communications Director/Detachment Commander: Fort Lewis, Washington; August 2011-July 2013

Brigade communicators director for a multi-functional military police brigade of 3500 troops; served as the primary advisor to the brigade commander on all garrison and tactical combat communications; operational oversight of these systems totals over $52 million. Deployed for one year in 2012 and served as the senior brigade information assurance security officer for the Afghanistan region. Also served as the senior communications advisor to the Afghan National Army military police at Parwan. Commanded and directed the joint signal company

(45 personnel) in a combat theater deployed setting. Communications Director, US Army: Fort Bragg, North Carolina, June 2005-May 2006 Lead communications planning officer of a 473-trooper division combat engineer battalion in support of the 82nd airborne division's no-notice 18-hour deployment readiness timeline. Commanded a Signal Platoon of 18 personnel, and responsible for the employment, maintenance, and accountability of four tactical communications vehicles and their corresponding satellite communications systems. Was tasked with coordination of the battalion command post on board a US Navy ship, and led the joint signal command detachment for communications during waterborne rescue and relief operations (Hurricane Katrina).
