Latin III/Latin Language and Culture, Student Teacher (Spring 2017)
Create and implement Latin curricula for two Latin III classes that were mixed Honors and non-Honors and one Latin Language and Culture class designed to go at a slower pace for students on Individual Education Programs (IEP). Designed current and traditional lesson plans to engage students and maximize understanding. Create varied lessons to inspire student participation and encourage student-centered learning.

Intensive Ancient Greek I, Co-Teacher (June 2016)
Co-taught Introductory Spoken Ancient Greek to students ranging from adolescence to graduate age 6 hours per day for two weeks. Employed the Polis Method of a full-immersion classroom using Total Physical Response (TPR) and Teaching Proficiency through Reading and Storytelling (TPRS) as well as explicit grammar explanation in the target language. Taught with Dr. Dean Cassella of the Texas Institute of Classical Studies.
North Texas Classics Collegium – Denton, TX
Introductory Latin; Introductory Ancient Greek; Intermediate Latin, Teacher (2014-2015)
Due to the recently terminated Latin program at the University of North Texas, these classes were formed for those in need of learning Latin and Ancient Greek, as well as those who desired to learn these languages. Taught introductory Latin from the Lingua Latina series using active teaching methodologies; taught introductory Ancient Greek in a more traditional manner using a grammar-translation textbook. Taught intermediate Latin using a reader from the Lingua Latina series employing active methods and translation and grammar review. While these classes were not for college credit they were a part of a university-recognized club, under the supervision of a faculty member of History department.
