Client : Pacific Gas and Electric Company; San Francisco; Duration: 14 months (current assignment on enhancements and Projects in the area of SAP Plant Maintenence)
Onsite team member in the Electric Line of Business.
For Projects – Responsible in attending Workshops during the Plan/ Analyze phase and understanding the Business AS IS Process and discuss regarding the TO BE Processes. Responsible in shaping the business requirements into system requirements followed by design and build. Conduct IT testing and UAT sessions with business for successful delivery. Presently working in the SAP Plant Maintenance Area providing customized solution to the business in the areas of PM Notification, PM Orders, PM Configurations
For Enhancements -
Responsible in understanding the business requirements and translate in SAP. The business submits requests in online ticketing system which flows through the IT team. Prepare estimates for the enhancement and get the necessary approvals from business and governance team for the approved funding. Preparation of Design and getting required approvals, Supporting development team for the enhancement. Performing IT Testing and conducting UAT sessions and there necessary approvals. Post GoLive support during Stabilization week for major releases. The enhancements are mostly in the areas of SAP Plant Maintenance in the area of PM Notifications and PM Orders
Project 2 :
Client: Southern California Edison; Los Angeles; Duration : 6 months ( Implementation )
FAS Implementation Project: Role as Onsite Coordinator.
100% Customized solution is provided to include many of their modules related to the Facilities Management System. Responsibilities include attending Workshops and understanding business processes and translating requirements into system requirements. Review of Functional Specs, supporting development team in offshore . Conducting Onsite-offshore status meetings and issue discussions. Conducting UAT sessions and getting business approvals and sign offs
Project 3 :
Client: Baker Hughes; Location in Houston and Bangalore; Duration : 36 months
Implementation project: Business requirement is to build customized solution and migrate Audit Management Systems (AMS) and Certificate Management Systems (CMS) to SAP platform creating a customized application Quality Management Systems (QMS).
Played a key role in the Data Migration which include preparing functional specs and data modelling, data mapping from documentum system, propose and implement TO BE process, preparing test cases and conduct testing, storing test scripts in HPQC system
Support Project: L2 support which includes resolution of defects and incidents and provide knowledge documents to the users: Preparing training documentation for the users in the area of: Inspection types and when these are triggered; how to correct inspection lot errors when the lot is not released and having the status as CRTD; How to generate the Quality Certificates; Procedure when an inspection lot is Auto UD; how to maintain Inspection Plans; How to do the results recording etc
Project 4 :
Client : Sun Chemical, Duration : 9 months
Enhancements and Support: Creating a customized solution in process inspection during manufacturing. Setting up of QM master data like creating Inspection Characteristics, Class, Inspection Plans, Material Specification, Inspection setup in material master for a material etc. Basic QM configurations – Create catalogs, Plant level settings, version management. Issues related to Inspection lots, results recording, Usage Decision etc.
Project 5 :
Client : Sigma Aldrich GSC Implementation; Duration : 12 months
Creation of Functional Specs for BDC programs, master data tools for roll outs. Successfully handled all the testing phases of the project. Coordinated the defect resolution activities within the project.
Handled the following QM areas: COA Profiles and Quality Certificates. Master data and issues related to Inspection lots, results recording, Usage Decision etc.
