Over 10 years’ experience independently establishing relationships with federal, state and local criminal investigative agencies to assist in prosecuting fraud, theft and criminal misconduct. Improved the functionality of system processes for better communication between federal agencies.
Led a department of forty-five (45) employees and four (4) managers with the primary duties being to ensure the unit’s strategic planning, corporate performance and reporting.
Ensured day-to-day operations met established corporate goals, objectives and operated efficiently.
Established internal controls, policies, procedures and regulations as well as leading, managing, directing and coordinating the full range of mission responsibilities related to the resolution and closing of failing or failed financial institutions and to serve as the subject matter expert (SME)
Evaluated management reports, monitor business system effectiveness, and obtain needed documentation for prosecution with assistance from various departments or divisions of the FDIC.
Managed the development and coordination of analyses addressing complex financial accounting, delinquency reports, and conducted asset reviews to determine institutions losses due to fraud.
Established the theoretical and/or practical criteria for developing claims against failed financial institution fidelity bonds and liability claims against directors and officers, accountants, attorneys, appraisers, and other professional individuals or firms.
Reviewed and analyzed administrative or enforcement proceedings issued by the FDIC, Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, Federal Reserve Bank, state or other financial institution supervisory agencies to evaluate and determine their impact on a claim.
Managed loan loss calculations by personnel for fraud activity which is coordinated with FDIC legal, Office of Inspector General, FBI and other agencies. The losses are then provided to the Assistant United States Attorney (AUSA) prosecuting the matter. The Department of Justice (“DOJ”) recognizes the FDIC when acting in its receivership capacity for all failed financial institutions.
Provided loan loss calculations which were instrumental in the successful prosecution by the AUSA, resulting in a restitution order payable to the institution that suffered the loss.
Developed training for several problem issues encountered which continue to be used in the corporate curriculum.

Managed and led SBA National Disaster Loan Resolution Center (NDLRC) consisting of a Contract Employee Unit, Liquidation Unit, Legal Unit and Record Center.
Supervised five managers and 47 employees that were responsible for disaster and 7A loan files coming in from SBA servicing offices throughout the United States.
Worked with SBA legal in filing law suits, wage garnishments, Trustee Bankruptcy actions, Foreclosure, Probate, Estates and other actions.
Verified disaster and 7A loans for fraudulent activity and referred the matter to legal for prosecution.
