Lead the human capital strategy for the travel network commercial functions supporting the largest employee population (1,000+, over 80% international) and revenue generating segment of Sabre ($2.4B).

Led multiple cost savings initiatives resulting in $30 million of run rate savings in salary and benefits expense and 21% reduction in headcount. Redesigned the organization to accelerate growth of our most profitable business while reducing management layers and shadow or redundant functions.

Redesigned the Americas’ go to market model by segmenting the client base according to revenue opportunity. Created 3 client tiers enabling the team to focus on growing share of existing business, acquiring new profitable business and serving more clients via inside sales improving productivity. Created a revenue heat map and used the insight gained to ensure we had local coverage to serve our most profitable clients.

Reviewed the organizational capability and designed and recruited high potential talent into new leadership roles to serve the future demands of the business including: Major Accounts Vice President, Director of Sales Operations, Sales Enablement Leader and Sales Compensation Leader.

Implemented and rolled out new sales compensation incentive plans in 47 countries; led the strategy entailing execution of plan documents, ensuring all local labor laws for every country were taken into consideration, consultation requirements and language requirements were met; implemented technology to expedite legal acceptance (docusign) resulting in process acceleration and reduction of administrative workforce hours versus prior years.

Created commercial competency model to outline “what great looks like” in sales roles. Competency model is used to develop, recruit and assess talent against agreed upon standards and benchmark for talent.
