**/**** – 05/2016
Master of Science Mechanical Engineering
Academic Projects:
Design and Analysis of IC Engine powered Centrifugal Blower: Designed and assembled 3D models of an IC engine and Centrifugal blower in SolidWorks using bottom-up technique. Performed a static analysis to optimize the material selection and conducted a motion study to validate the functionality of the assembly.
Finite Element Analysis of Aluminum Load Cell: Programmed a MATLAB based FEA code to model an Aluminum load cell subjected to axial loading. Performed a convergence study to obtain the ideal element mesh size to accurately calculate the displacement of each node within the load cell.
Lean Simulation Study: Identified uncontrolled processes for various complex product development systems using Root cause analyses techniques. Implemented Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement tools to eliminate Non-Value added activities and develop a standardized work flow for the systems.
