Engineering Intern: Laird Technologies. (Sep 16 – July17)
Working as a Software QA Engineer Intern in the team of three. Working closely with Firmware Engineer, Hardware Engineers and Product Development team.
Design Test Cycle procedure for Telematics Tracking Products which is applied after every Firmware Release. Develop Test Cases based on customer use cases, automate them, Perform feature and regression testing based on new features and changes on the bench and in vehicle. Track old issues and verify them.
Identify new issues related to Firmware, CDMA modem, GPS, CAN bus, Scripts and hardware by root cause analysis. Reproduce them in the lab and in the vehicle. Form new test cases based on that.
Perform Subsystem Testing of Infotainment System prototype which consists Smart antenna (includes LTE, GPS, DSRC, FM, SXM), Tuner Processor Board and Head Unit. Testing done in Linux environment. Know how to flash those subsystems.
Capture and analyze modem traces using Marvell Modem debugging and Syslog watcher tools by serially connecting to the tuner board. Validate of eCall Test server and Over the Air Update Feature. Write code for CAN simulation for Instrument Cluster on the bench and developed test cases for DSRC applications.
Document KPI of the System. Perform end to end testing of above system after interfacing it over Ethernet-AVB and CAN bus in the vehicle. It includes features such as FM/AM/SXM tuning, Web browsing, phone call, SMS, DSRC, navigation and eCall/bCall.
Attend weekly team meetings with Product Development team, share the report of the work and progress. Plan further testing according to next Firmware releases.
PLC Engineer Trainee: Godrej & Boyce Mfg. Pvt. Ltd. (Dec 14 – May 15)
Worked in a team under Senior Engineer. Learned to Design & develop PLC Ladder Logic using Siemens PLC/HMI Simatic S7-300 according to required specification.
Performed debugging and simulation of developed PLC logic code. Work also included maintenance of PLC panels and motors to ensure all systems are running at their peak.
Participated in time to time Review meetings with senior Engineers and Project Manager.
Provided technical support to customers by email.
Student Assistant: Wayne State University Aramark Catering Services. (October 15 – Present.)

ENGINEERING PROJECTS
1. Design Project, Modelling & control of power converters. (Wayne State University, fall 2015).
Gained design and simulation experience on power electronics modelling & control system of power converters using MATLAB coding, Simulink and PSIM.
It includes designing of specifications, parameters of power converter and analysing its response.
Submitted report of the project with the help of MS Word, MATLAB and Simulink.
2. Accident Detection and Messaging System. (Wayne State University, March 16 – May 16).
It is the system of detection of car accident with the help of GPS Receiver module and reporting the same to an emergency contact number with the help of GSM module.
Components used PIC18F46K22 Microcontroller, GSM Module, GPS Receiver Module and Vibration Sensor.
Prepared Embedded C Code for the system and presented project report along with project partner.
3. Frequency Tuneable Antenna using RF MEMS (Micro-Electromechanical Systems) Technology. (Wayne State University, Feb 16 – May 16).
Designed an RF MEMS Sensor antenna in order to tune multiple frequencies.
Created masking layout using AutoCAD software. Manufactured it by Fabrication Process in the Lab.
Determined the dimensions of the sensor which is frequency tuneable antenna. Submitted report of progress to the professor in charge.
4. DSRC Application Intersection Collision Warning. (Wayne State University - July 16)
Wrote Java code to develop above application.
Used Haversine Formula to find out speed and distance of two vehicles by knowing their Latitude, Longitude and time stamp. Further by using Rectangle Function determined whether Vehicle will collide or not.
Converted .java file into .kml file and presented output on Google Earth.
5. Voice Controlled Robot, (University of Mumbai, Aug 13 - Apr14.)
It is an application of Wireless communication, embedded system, robotics and Speech Recognition algorithm. It can be used in various fields to reduce human efforts.
Implemented using RS-232, Motor Driver L293D for movement of robot, PIC16F72A microcontroller, ASK transmitter & Receiver module for wireless communication as main components along with Visual Basic.net, C Programming and Eagle software.
