TOPIC: “OSCILLATORY SHEARING LAWN MOWER”

The project was aimed at creating a feasible alternative for the commonly used rotary lawn mowers which pose a high degree of risk due to the fast rotation of sharp blades. The fabricated model proved to have merits of clean, effective cut at a low operating speeds and lower risk. The only marked demerit was the requirement of precision manufacturing for optimum performance.

TOPIC: “FINITE ELEMENT ANALYSIS OF CONNECTING ROD” The main objective of this project was to determine the various stress acting and frequency acting on the connecting rod under static and dynamic loading conditions. ACHIEVEMENTS

Secured Third position in the Anna university inter-zonal tournaments for the 2015- 2016 held at Kumaraguru College of technology in FENCING team (FOIL). CO CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

First Prize in the event Tech-video.

Second place by exhibiting the project entitled Toggle Mechanism in Tech expo’15.

Third prize in Pencil Drawing organised by college Yoga club.
