Data transfer modernization – Transition from home grown application to MQ Series including the Command Center system for Monitoring and Incident Manager
Upgrade and implement organizational Gateway Appliances (a single multi-channel gateway that helps provide security, control, integration and optimized access to a full range of mobile, web, application programming interface (API), service-oriented architecture (SOA), B2B and cloud workloads.), which had reached end-of-life and, thus, support.
Disaster Recovery – Developed, organized, and led vendor workshops, coordinated architectural design, environmental build(s), development of SOW’s, and interface with a broad spectrum of vendors. Extensive interface with the infrastructure, architecture, security, and database teams.
Led the effort to establish an enterprise wide, data transmission environment for Disaster Recovery.
The effort was originally estimated for 1 years. The effort was completed in 7 months.
Security Project Manager
Engaged as a member of the Security Team reporting directly to the CISO.
Implement EMC's (SEC 17a-4 governance) Source One, (email) Exchange, information security and compliance application. This effort was 4 years behind schedule and had failed 8 times. Working with Compliance and infrastructure personnel as well as EMC engineers, addressed and resolved technical challenges (both internal and vendor related) as they arose. Coordinated efforts with the QA Team to develop comprehensive requirements and test artifacts and ensure the integrity of the implemented system.
Effort successfully implemented within eight month.
Lead a FINRA mandated PCI, security initiative to encrypt all Agents' and Agency Office computers. This effort was 1 years behind schedule.
Within three months this initiative was operational.

Mortgage Backed Securities Project Manager
Customer facing PM for post-sales vendor support to clients of Mortgage backed securities, Financial Securitization software.
Manage effort to implement this software solution for CIBC, a major Canadian bank. This effort was two years behind schedule and well over budget. By close collaboration with senior management of the Bank, initiated a re-review and substantial remediation of requirements.
A successful implementation was achieved in less than one year.
Financial Services Project Manager/Development & QA Manager
Managed all infrastructure activities during the corporate split of a major financial services firm. All tasks were concluded on schedule while mitigating adverse customer impact.
Guided a multi-million dollar, 401K initiative from Initiation to production. Proposed an iterative testing approach, the result of which was to accelerate the pace of deliverables. The initiative was completed on schedule and within budget.
Managed the gap analysis to support selection of an annuities system.
Introduced a Web dashboard which enabled interactive view of daily fund pricing transmissions for MetLife’s trading desk. This information enabled management decisions predicated upon real time access to securities pricing and trading.
Led the development, Quality Assurance, and infrastructure efforts during creation and support of the Enterprise Monitoring Center (EMC): The purpose of the Enterprise Monitoring Center (EMC) is to 1) pre-empt disruption to the environment whether by hardware/network failure or hacking attack (Denial of Service (DOS)), 2) mitigate all potential adverse customer impact while interfacing with Web portals and 3) Ensure seamless continuity of all enterprise applications, identify and mitigate intrusions. Was able to realize all these benefits through use of state-of-the-art tools, including a correlation engine, and logging and monitoring for the in-house developed, web based Incident Manager.
Introduced test automation using SQA Robot and Manager (now Rational).
Designed and implemented a SWIFT and ISITC communication process.
Support customization of client IT solutions to meet the needs of existing and new corporate clients. Close coordination of numerous entities including: Third party sources of data (Fidelity, Lincoln, ING, etc.), third party specialized vendors (IE: RR Donnelly), external customers, as well as internal IT and Business personnel.
Coordinate “emergency” activities of virtually every discipline within the internal IT staff to architect, develop, and test the Single Sign-On feature for a premier client in order to retain that client’s business.

Pharmaceuticals Project Manager
Manage activities associated with consolidation and in some cases re-write and design of Omnicare acquisition applications and infrastructure to be compliant with the CVS ecosystem.
Ensure all auditable artifacts required of a major pharmacies takeover meet required governance and compliance mandates including those of Federal and pharmacy statutes.
Retail Project Manager
Lead several multi-million dollar, mission critical corporate initiatives to successful conclusion including European Expansion, Greater than 999 Stores, and International data transmission
Successfully led the strategic corporate initiative to make it possible for the organization’s ability to distribute beyond the programmatical restriction of 999 stores. Nineteen systems consisting of over 400 applications were impacted. Overcame the challenges of no test scripts, system documentation, and formal mainframe test group personnel by developing a strategy which included securing training guides from the Training Group, creating detail design from these scripts as well as test cases, conduct walkthroughs of these scripts with SME’s, ultimately turning these scripts into test matrices and conducting full regression testing. Five minor defects were discovered during implementation.
Coordinated the activities of off shore and on shore IT and QA teams as well as business stakeholders in the U.S., Canada, and Europe.
