(Student Associate)
Developed tact and diplomacy in dealing with customers in a fast-paced environment.
Gained good amount of customer service experience and efficiently resolving their issues and concerns.
Summer Internship
Premier Explosives Pvt. Limited, Hyderabad, India. May’ 13 – Aug’ 13
(Student Intern)
(Manufactures Solid Propellants for Indian Space Research Organization)
Developed excel based tool to calculate specific impulse and total impulse using P-T curve of a solid propellant with various configurations.
Excel sheet acts as an interface between the input and output values.
The Grain size, structure and the required dimensions and specifications are given before the analysis.
Pressure and thrust values with respect to time are obtained from the plot. This is generated based on the pressure values inputted into the calculation sheet accumulated by the pressure gauge, during the test fire.
ACADEMIC PROJECT:
Design and Analysis of a Main Landing Gear of a UAV
Designed the Main Landing Gear based on using SolidWorks software by taking AAI RQ-7 Shadow 200 unmanned aerial vehicle as a reference to this project.
The main objective of this project was to minimize the weight and increase the resistance of the landing gear under extreme conditions.
Titanium alloy material was used since the material properties of the alloy have extraordinary corrosion resistance and the ability to withstand extreme conditions and loads.
The main objective for this project was to determine stresses and deflections on various loads using ANSYS – CFX.
Calculating the J-Integral of a Cracked Specimen
This project deals with crack propagation and fracture toughness of a jelly material.
The specimen was designed and analyzed by using Abaqus software. The simulation showed that the propagation of the crack was path dependent, since proportional loading is not possible during an in-plane loading for a jelly material.
The fracture toughness of the jelly material is obtained to be 0.3 Mpa.
The deformed shape of the given specimen is obtained after the simulation using Abaqus.
Design and Analysis of a Tricycle Landing Gear
Assembled a team to work on design and development of a geometric model of a tricycle landing gear on CATIA V5 – R18.
Designed an Oleo Strut for the nose landing gear and assembly of the entire landing gear.
Developed the finite element model in MSC/PATRAN, and guided them with the application of required loads and boundary conditions to the design.
Evaluated static stress calculations using ANSYS.
Design of an Experiment to Optimize the Factors Affecting the Performance of a Swimmer
To increase the efficiency of a swimmer, considering the various factors that would affect swimmer performance.
A full factorial experiment with a single replicate was conducted and the data was analyzed using MINITAB software.
