At SoloPoint Solutions Agency:
Design 12GB test systems for hard drives. I was updating; modifying the environment chambers power and system controllers. It used micro controllers with {Digital to Analog Converters} (FPGA programming) for output control for AC motors, DC motors, power to heating elements and cooling coils and {Analog to Digital converters} to read sensor inputs. Like the speeds of [AC motors, DC motors] and temperature sensors outputs. I designed new PCBA schematic capture, cables, and main power inputs for environment systems that tested newly designed hard drives over a four corner testing stage of – 40C to 60C temperature and 1.25 VDC to 6.25V DC power. Designed a new 12GB interface PCB card that is used to load and read data from a high speed drives. The data port in the drives was a new and confidential design by the by all vendors making parts for the system. I designed PCB interface that made it work. It used eight Digital to Analog output ports, and eight Analog to Digital on the inputs ports. Each hard drive needed input and output functions so four channels for input and four channels for output are used. Spice tested all system
GeoLogics an Agency for BAE
•Designed a battery control system and test units (using National Instruments test units and Labview software wrote rev, 1 of testing code) and (FPGA programming) for BAE’s hybrid tanks and other military vehicles. Designed the test the system for all electrical and electronic parts of the system and also testing software. It used a lot of A/D and D/A converters, Serial ports, and micro controllers, a main computer, RS232 ports USB ports and some new port designs I can not speak about. It used DC and AC motors, motor controllers and AC/DC power generators and power interfaces. It had a Battery power system, voltages used ranged over [a low 1.25V to high voltages over 600V] and a great number of sensor inputs and cables. I designed a number of PCBA for it ITAR limits me here. Spice tested part of system design.
I did rev.1 of the code and flow carted the system operations Designed harness and cables for system power and control.
