Senior Supplier Quality Engineer (8/2011 – Present)

Promoted to drive quality improvement plans for assigned suppliers, manage quality plan implementation, select suppliers through qualification processes, and own supplier results. Execute key strategies to improve customer satisfaction and ensure quality systems are maintained through the manufacturing process. Also serve as North American Manager for corporate-mandated Supplier Requirements Guidelines program, ensuring GE only does business with suppliers that adhere to labor rights, EHS, and human trafficking laws.

Manage Supplier Quality for all Digital Energy Capacitor facilities, ensuring legacy Alstom and GE facilities adhere to the same supplier quality processes.

Audit supplier base and ensure compliance with processes, product, and quality systems meet requirements.

Support sourcing deflation and single source elimination initiatives by qualifying parts from new suppliers.

Develop positive relationships and work closely with Sourcing Leaders to manage and implement supplier/engineering changes, New Product Introductions (NPI), and transfers.

Direct investigations of major problems and of special projects. Work with supplier base to find root cause and implement corrective actions of supplier related defects.

Advise functional managers regarding projects, processes and procedures in the field.
