CSU Fullerton Titan Rover 2016-2017 – Suspension Team, Hub Designer

Tested and modeled the previous rover suspension, then improved the flaws in the system.

Formulated an inboard suspension to maximize the wheel to shock motion ratio.

Developed an in-wheel hub assembly to shorten the wheel base and encompass the motors.

Optimized the hub design, using finite element analysis, to meet weight requirements established by competition regulations.

Aided in the manufacturing and tolerancing of parts on the rover, with hands on use of manual and CNC operations including the layup of carbon fiber.

Analytically solved the kinematic linkages used in the gripper assembly.
