August 2016 – Present: Environmental Protection Agency, Washington D.C. Administrative Assistant. Federal Contractor. 40 hours per week. Correspondence Officer. Responsible for receiving, reviewing, and logging Congressional staff packages for EPA senior management. Review and edit all documentation to reflect changes on CMS database and managing control assignments in a team environment. Extensive use of Correspondence Management system database by accepting control assignments and assigning them to ORD departments. Many of the correspondence packages are Congressional in nature so exercising sensitivity is warranted.

October 2015 – August 2016 Dept of Health and Human Services, Admin Asst, Federal Government; GS-09, Washington D.C. 40-hour work week. Duties include Certified Contracting Officer Representative (COR) duties, preparing Inter-agency Agreements and contracts. Loading, reconciling and verifying funds availability. Processing high-level incoming and outgoing staff packages. These Staff packages are endorsed by Senior Executive Directors, changing policies and/or responding to congressional inquiries. October 2012 – June 2015: National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, Department of Defense Contractor, NW-Systems Inc, Springfield, VA, 40 hours per week. Primary duties include but not limited to processing high-level incoming and outgoing correspondence. These Staff packages are endorsed by Senior Executive Directors, changing policies and/or responding to congressional inquiries. My duties are to ensure they comply with all DoD standards and flow grammatically and with cohesiveness. I also log and track suspense taskers using our automated database, thus coordinating with internal and external agency personnel when discrepancies or issues are noted. I also maintain calendar appointments for the director and deputy director of Security and Installation Directorate of NGA. I perform this using the Micro Soft Outlook database for Windows 7. This includes sending invites, attaching background material to appointments, closely monitoring for conflicts, and de-conflict appointments when necessary. I function in the Share Point database on a daily basis. We use this database to share and edit office correspondence between internal offices. I also function as the primary travel coordinator for the two principals. This includes arranging flights, lodging, rental car and ensuring proper amounts are allocated against Government Travel cards.
