Achievements
Singapore
Gallant Venture Ltd (GV) is a SGX listed company with corporate office located in Singapore. Prior to forming GV, the company was a JV between Sembcorp Industries Ltd and the Indonesia Salim Group on a G2G arrangement. I was handpicked by the Executive Director as the pioneer to set up the Corporate HR policies for listing purposes and concurrently recruiting the necessitate staff for the company. All assignments were well accomplished in accordance to schedules and GV was successfully listed in 2006 June.
In addition to the HR general duties, I was tasked to prepare the Annual General Meeting Reports for shareholders meeting. Being a highly receptive person by nature, I was also appointed to oversee the Group IT management, working hand in hand with a 3PL. The projects were well managed and cost saving for IT department.
I appreciated the trust level the management has given me with all the tasks beyond my HR job scope.
Regional
Participated in the M&As due diligence, I managed to build good relationship with the acquired business units’ GMs and other team members as well as acted as an advisor to the respective BUs to further enhance the business operations in accordance to the required standard set by the group CEO of the corporate office.
While expatriate remuneration is sensitive to the Indonesian, GV has assigned me to make study and take over the expatriate tax computation and to liaise directly with the local tax authority within a stint of 3 months. With no knowledge on the project, I made extra effort to scout around for assistance to ensure my fulfillment to the task, I managed it well.
