Prior to forming GV, the company was a JV between Sembcorp Industries Ltd and the Indonesia Salim Group on a G2G arrangement. I was handpicked by the Executive Director as the pioneer to set up the Corporate HR policies for listing purposes and concurrently recruiting the necessitate staff for the company. All assignments were well accomplished in accordance to schedules and GV was successfully listed in 2006 June.

In addition to the HR general duties, I was tasked to prepare the Annual General Meeting Reports for shareholders meeting. While expatriate remuneration is sensitive to the Indonesian, GV has assigned me to make study and take over the expatriate tax computation and to liaise directly with the local tax authority within a stint of 3 months.
