PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Assistant Professor for Arabic, Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center (DLIFLC) – Language Training Detachment (LTD) Camp Lejeune, NC. December 2014 – September 2016.

Taught Marine Special Operations Command (MARSOC) students. Achieved a 100% passing rate, more than 65% exceeded course standards. In the last group of students I taught, 100% exceeded the course standards. All of this section achieved a “1+” in speaking, one scored a “1” in listening and another student scored a “1” in reading on the course final exam (DLPT5). These results were unprecedented in the Language Training Detachment/Field Support Division of DLIFLC in a course lasting less than 24 weeks;

Critiqued, proofread, corrected and taught the first chapter of a pilot experimental MARSOC curriculum which was developed by a commercial company;
