QA Management Lead
Reported to VP, Director of Software.
Established QA group from scratch, including recruitment and training.
Improved quality 90% - established process to capture test suites, test cases and test results using Agile methodology and mentored QA team members. Prior QA efforts in the organization revealed only 1/10th the number of defects for similar scoped projects resulting in discontented customers.
Established culture for developers to write unit tests to proactively detect defects before QA handoff.
Identified and used test automation tool for AngularJS framework.
Wrote code to accelerate development efforts when the development team was short handed.
Complex system (“Single Page” responsive Web Application, AngularJS, C#, Oracle, MSSQL, Tableau, Teamcity, Agile, Configurations using Windows Workflow and Rules Engine, XML, Data Warehouse, SVN, JIRA).
