Worked with small to medium size companies reviewing their process and procedures to help drive Lean Six Sigma principles within their business environment. Responsible for the implementation, management, and successful operation of the Continuous Improvement Methodology process in the factory as well as development of various QMS systems. Reduced internal scrap from 6% to 2.3% for an annual saving of $750,000 working with the design team to develop robust process on how parts are nested prior to the Cutting Operation

Division Lead - Lean Six Sigma Integrated Supply Chain

Worked with cross-functional teams to implement six sigma methodologies (SEE) to improve efficiencies, reduce internal/external scrap and increase profitability with an average savings of $1.1 million/year. Work with senior leadership to translate their goals and objectives to tactical Lean Six Sigma projects by identifying the correct resources and clearly identifying the scope. Trained and mentored project leads in Lean Six Sigma (SEE) methodologies to drive results that were statistically significant to the organization and could be sustained after the project closed.

Key Accomplishments:

Trained and mentored Green Belts and Black Belts in Brazil, Europe and China

Centerline machines which were not meeting divisional performance threshold across the organization and developed divisional standards for set-up and clean up procedures. This increased OEE by 7% saving $1.25 million annually

Worked with Maintenance team to determine develop a Robust TPM in the maintenance shop and for planned scheduled downtime. This increased OEE by 10% saving $800K division wide

Deployed a Business Process Service (BPS) for a corporate wide ArtiosCAD program, which increased front-end process efficiencies by 20% and led to an annual savings of $2.5 million.

Reduced manufacturing material overages by 3% in the division’s largest facility ($250 mm annual sales), which increased profitability by $1.3 million annually.

Worked on Business Process Service (BPS) with the design department to analyze new software and drive down overall cost from current supplier and implement a corporate wide contract, which gave standard pricing, and software for a net profitability of $600k annually.

Developed best practices with the assembly plants to increase last hour efficiencies, which in turn increased output by 20% for a net profitability of $600K annually.
