Employment History
Assessed and cared for many patients with women/men health issues who had co-morbid conditions like heart disease, HTN, GERD, asthma, COPD, anemia, hyperlipidemia, ESRD, hypo/hyperthyroidism, seizure disorders, and S/P Strokes with hemiparesis and hemiplegia. Some patients also suffered from medical and psychiatric illnesses like schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, insomnia, dementia, Parkinson's, anxiety etc.
Assessed and provided care to women of all ages. Addressed women healthcare issues, conducted breast examinations, and educated patients on importance of monthly self-breast examinations. Many of the women had many comorbid conditions such as HTN, DM, heart disease, polyneuropathy, hypo/hyperthyroidism etc.
Assessed and cared for patients of all age groups from pediatric to geriatric who had asthma, COPD, and various food, chemical, and seasonal allergies. Some patients had different types of macular, papular, vesicular, annular and dermatographic rashes while others suffered from contact and atopic dermatitis and Psoriasis. Many patients suffered from seasonal rhinitis, allergic rhinitis, and multiple food allergies.

Dr. Carlos Santos: Pulmonology and Sleep disorder Medicine 16855 NE 2nd Ave, Suite 302 Assessed and cared for patients with asthma, COPD, bronchitis, obstructive sleep apnea, and other respiratory conditions. Many patients had co-morbid conditions like a hypertension, diabetes, hypothyroidism, heart disease, hyperlipidemia, morbid obesity etc. Assessed and help treat many patients with multiple chronic illnesses like HTN, DM, GERD, COPD, heart disease, S/P strokes etc. The patient population consisted of women, men, and juveniles of all age groups: adult, geriatric, and pediatric.
Provided skilled compassionate care to critically ill patients in medical, surgical, and cardiac care intensive care units (MICU, SICU, and CCU). Cared for acute and chronically ill vented patients with Respiratory Failure, Acute MIs, CHF, PN, PE, DVTs, DM, CVAs, ICH, SZ Disorders, AMS, GI bleeds, Dialysis, CVVHD, ELAPs, Colectomies, Renal Failure, Pancreatitis, GB etc. Administered TPN, Enteral Feedings, and titrated many cardiovascular drips and sedation drips according to hospital protocols. Cared for critically ill patients with similar health conditions listed above. Additionally, cared for patients with many GI disorders, craniotomies, electrolyte imbalances, chest tubes, thoracotomies etc. Assisted with insertions of chest tubes, central lines, and dialysis catheters and inserted Foleys, NGT tubes, and intravenous catheters. Titrated many drips such as Diprivan, Ativan, Midazolam, Insulin, Heparin, Integrillin, Nitroglycerin, Dobutamine, Dopamine, Neosynephrine, Norepinephrine, Nicardipine, Cardizem etc.
Cared for critically ill patients with many similar aforementioned acute/chronic conditions in a critical care setting. Inserted Foleys, NGTs and assisted with Intubations, Central lines, A-lines, and Chest tube insertions. Performed Hemodynamic monitoring such as CVP, A-line, PAP, and PAWP pressures and measured cardiac outputs on hemodynamically unstable cardiac compromised patients. Titrated many drips such as Natrecor, Primacor, Inocor, Nipride, Tridil etc. Also, monitored ICP pressures on ICH patients with ventriculostomies.
