This project was to last 1.5 years and covered the 4000 and 5000 series compact utility tractors. The system included connection of the information flow from design to manufacturing and the conveyance of lean manufacturing concepts to the plant floor. My duties were soon expanded to management of a team of engineers responsible for creation and maintenance of the assembly planning while designing and implementing a $1.6M PC based Manufacturing Execution System in an 18 month time frame.
