Projects
Mercedes Benz Vans - Sprinter Body shop - VS30 Project, Charleston, SC 08/2016-Present
• Support designing Body in White assembly lines controls systems. Programed a Siemens S7-300 Series PLC according to the Integra 5 standard using Siemens Step-7 for Spot-Welding Robot Test Station. Involved in programing KUKA KRC4 – KR 210 R2700 Robot, Welding Gun and a Gripper for Test Station. G38 BMW Plant - Shenyang, P.R. China 04/2016-06/2016
• Programed a Siemens S7-1500 Series PLC according to the BMW Software standards using TIA portal for 19338CT01 Body-in-White assembly line. It had about 150 I/O points including communications with 9 robots. Involved in project commissioning.
750 kW Solar Project – Rams Hill Golf Club, Borrego Springs, CA 07/2015-12/2015
• Designed and programed hardware platforms to monitor and control four different stations. Programed Remote Programable Automation Controllers (rPACs) to collect data from various type of hardware. Integrated Solar Inverters, Weather Stations, Current Transformers, Smart Energy Meters, Transformers, and Switchboard breakers via DNP3/Modbus RTU communication protocols. Researched and tested Power Inverters to control various types of Energy Storage units. Programed a rPAC to control the inverters. Jacobs Hall Solar Monitoring System – UC Berkeley 10/2015-12/2015
• Designed the hardware platforms to control/monitor solar power generation from four solar inverters. Configured a rPAC to collect the data from solar Inverters. Collected data then transferred to the SCADA system via DNP3. Conveyor System – Cape Girardeau, MO 02/2015-05/2015
• Programed an Allen Bradley (AB) ControlLogix (Logix5561) controller to automate a box filling operation. Conveyor belt operated using a motor that was controlled by a PowerFlex Drive. Hopper was controlled by using an E3 relay. These devices were communicated via DeviceNet network. Skills
