Point Click Care Inquiry (PCC) Referral Marketing (IRM) $3M Budget – Team of 26 Managed cross-functional project team to implement in over 300 Golden locations the IRM (PCC Marketing module). IRM is fully integrated with PCC Clinical Electronic Medical Record and Business Office applications. (EHR), electronic Medication Administration Record (eMAR) and electronic Treatment Authorization Request
(eTAR) data across the enterprise. Health Care Software Interactant Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) $6.5M Budget – 4 Teams/55 Participants Successfully led project comprised of 4 oversight teams w/ sub-teams composed of both internal and external resources. Oversight teams ranged in size from 7 to 18 participants. HCS eliminated the need for Golden's legacy RCM system, and replaced it with a comprehensive, automated solution that meets the needs of the company's revenue cycle. The HCS RCM system also replaces 15 ancillary applications across multiple hardware/software platforms. It allows the company to streamline current workflow processes and become more efficient and accurate in recording revenue, billing payers and managing cash flow. In addition to being a core RCM System, HCS also provides Golden Living mobile access, as needed as well as enhanced reporting and dashboard capabilities. HCS improves productivity while decreasing overall costs of Golden’s RCM on a IBM AS400 platform using RPG, COBOL, & Java.

Coupa Expense Reporting $230K Budget – Team of 16 Implemented Coupa's automated Expense Reporting System along with new Bank of America Travel Card and accounts payable system interfaces to replace American Express related services and an antiquated Excel spreadsheet manual process. The effort also required updating expense reporting policy and procedures while incorporating approvals via Golden Living's extensive management hierarchy. Expense audit processes were also incorporated in the effort.
NAVEX Policy Center (40K+ Users) $103K Budget – Team of 22 Managed budget and led project team along with on-site vendor engagements to train and implement a hosted policy center application (PolicyTech) across the enterprise to manage policies and procedures. The system makes the complex tasks of writing, sharing, updating and attesting to policies simple and seamless, while helping Golden meet legal and regulatory requirements.
Payroll Based Journaling (PBJ) Regulatory Project – Team of 30 Finalized the internal development and implementation of an IBM Cognos Analytics PBJ System to provide mandatory PBJ reporting to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). Golden must electronically submit direct care staffing information (including agency and contract staff) based on payroll and other auditable data. The data, when combined with census information, can then be used to not only report on the level of staff in each center, but also to report on employee turnover and tenure, which can impact the quality of care delivered. Regarding the above:
Many of the efforts supported on-going regulatory compliance to edicts passed down from government entities such as the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.
All helped ensure the continued bi-weekly flow of tens-of-millions of dollars in revenue for the enterprise, while ensuring daily 5-Star Levels of Care for over 60,000 residents and patients.
