Served as Application Interface Manager on project team to upgrade over 2500 servers running health care applications in 95 different facilities on a Windows Server 2003, or earlier, operating system (OS)

Worked with application owners and site IT directors for application upgrade or remediation and migration to a newer Windows OS hosting servers

Identified hardware specifications for applications by working with vendors and support teams and procured new hardware as needed

Tasked site IT teams to rack/stack/cable new hardware and monitored same

Identified applications capable of running on virtual machines or those requiring physical environments

Ordered virtual machine server builds as required for application migration

Scheduled application cutovers and migration to new physical or virtual hardware

Obtained verification and approval from end users that application was accessible and running as required through User Access Testing
