PROJECTS/EXPERIENCE
Senior Design Project. Designed and manufactured a prototype of an interactive robot to be used at the Children’s Museum of Southern Minnesota.
- Self-taught Python to program the various functions the robot does.
- Used fundamentals of dynamics to calculate the allowable torque in the robot’s arms.
- Wrote a programming code that face-tracks the child the robot is interacting with.
Mechanical Systems Design Course. Designed and manufactured an envelope stamper using crank-slider and crank-rocker mechanisms.
- Used SAM 7.0 to design a one degree of freedom mechanism that feeds, stamps, and slides the envelopes one after the other.
