CORE ACCOMPLISHMENTS
• Served as the single point of contact responsible for the development and implementation of a $24 million High Bay Warehouse. Developed system requirements for the operation of a 10,500 pallet position, crane operated warehouse capable of providing automated pallet building and induction into the warehouse for continuous packaging and warehouse operations. Responsible for creating all standard operating procedures and maintenance forms for the operation of the automated warehouse system.
• Set up a data acquisition system to provide continuous monitoring and data collection of over 500 critical process parameters, including room temperatures and relative humidity, differential pressures, load cell weights, flow rates, water conductivity and TOC, steam pressures and the status of equipment.
• Worked with the Warehouse, Marketing, Production Planners and Finance management to establish and maintain the most efficient inventory levels for operations based on accurate forecasting data.
• Developed suitable contracts and purchasing agreements with approved suppliers to provide a reliable supply chain and allow for an effective cost control environment. Efficiency improvements include the reduction of inventory, improved payment terms and reducing vendor pricing by working with the suppliers and learning their manufacturing processes to determine potential cost reductions for the components they provided.
