Initially responsible for the day to day operations of the business. Over time I became primarily involved in, and responsible for, the development and retention of the team of realtors. In the real estate business the life-blood of every brokerage lies in the strength and depth of their team of realtors. Without a team of great realtors a brokerage is destined to stagnate and ultimately fail. With a team of great realtors a brokerage flourishes. My primary role at PorchLight ultimately was about generating new team members and retaining the ones who were already on the team.
Selected Accomplishments:
Recruited over $100M in new transaction volume in 1 year. Previously the company recruited roughly $10M - $15M in new transaction volume a year.
Retained 28 of the 30 top producing agents in the company. Previously the company had upwards of 30% “regrettable loss” in their top performing agent pool.
Directly involved in the growth of the business from $75M in annual transaction volume to just under $750M when I resigned my position.
