Joined Bharat Petroleum Corprn. (Refinery Projects) Mumbai on 1-9-1982 as Engg. Officer (Project planning and Monitoring) Handled all project control/Planning functions at Project Deparement –Secondary Processing Facilities Project/Aromatics/CCU revamp/shutdowns etc up to 30-11-1986.
From 01-02-1986 onwards worked as Dy. Manager(Advisory Engineering) and as inspection Engineer up to 10-03-1991, jobs handled mainly Vendor development / Refinery Inspection etc.
From 11-03-1991 till 22/12/1993 worked as Dy. Manager at Centre for High Technoliogy (Ministry of Petroleum_ New delhi on deputation.
From 23-12-1993 joined back at Major Projects Department up to 21/07/1997 handled as Manager Projects – CCU Revamp/Prefractionator Revamp/High Vaccum unit Revamp. Etc.
From 22-07-1997 up to 31-03-2001 (4 Years) worked as Planning Engineer (Projects) at Kuwait National Petroleum Company, Ahamadi Refinery,Kuwait on deputation from BPCL through Petroleum India international,Mumbai.

Co ordination for pre commissioning / commissioning of units upon Mechanical completion .
Co ordination /follow up with various statutory authorities such as Pollution Controls / factories and boilers / Controller of Explosives / State and Central Govt. authorities / Labor Commissioner ALC and various departments for approvals /licenses etc.
Review and make necessary recommendations on the project plans submitted by various contractors .

From 22-07-1997 up to 31-03-2001 worked as Project Planning Engineer at KNPC-Ahamadi Refinery,Kuwait. During tenure involved with major projects like MTBE Alkylation & FCC Revamp Project (MAFP) and Steam System Revamp Project (SSRP) during 1997-99, From 1999 involved in Oil Pier Task Force Projects and was assigned with Project Control functions of Projects,namely rehabilitation of Oil Pier and Associated Topside facilities of MAA refinery, Associated with major EPL/PMC M/s Stork Ketels/Sunkyong Korea/ Stone V Webster/Swedala & other contractors and consultants during the above period
