In a simple sentence… I am a former collegiate soccer player with a sociable personality that enjoys bringing charisma and a strong work ethic into any environment. Living abroad in Gambia, helped me realize the importance of maintaining a good work ethic despite the low pay that many employees at the NGO received while working in impoverished conditions. Your work is not just about the money you make, but achieving goals for your team and making your company as productive as possible. With regards to my canvassing experience, I learned that despite disappointment from getting doors slammed in your face, it is relieving to reach people and establish empathy with a common understanding on an issue in addition to obtaining donations. My later transition into the service industry established an understanding that despite your position you do anything that needs to be done in effort for your restaurant team to succeed. You must learn to do everything in the restaurant, whether that is washing dishes, bussing tables, or doing other side work that is not typically expected of a server. While I strongly value good service, I also embrace a bold, benign, and bonhomous perspective towards those suffering from issues of mental health that has been derived from my past studies in psychology and philosophy. I like to radiate energy in my surrounding environment to bring out the best in others as well as produce synergistic outcomes that exhibit the true potential of my surrounding team.
