Design and Fabrication of Coconut Tree Climbing Equipment, KLEMSSCET 2015
Project was Sponsored by Karnataka State Council of Science and Technology (KSCST) and was selected for State Level Exhibition.
Built a Coconut tree climbing equipment which helps to climb on coconut trees without much human effort.
We considered the safety, reliability, the ease of use, reduce the injury while climbing the trees.
Designed the model using the software CATIA V5.
It can be reduced in size i.e. adjustable height and thus makes it portable and easy to transport for use, by residents and farm owners. Less effort and skill is required than the primitive method.
Documented and presented the report with a live demo in the college.
Awarded COE Dean’s Merit Scholarship for Master’s Students for obtaining 4.0 GPA in Fall 2015.
Certified for participation in Value Engineering to Advance Lean Management organized by SAVE.
