For more than 25 years I have worked in a business and sales environment. I would like to work with other professionals utilizing my background and experience to elevate both my employers standing and my own. I like the challenge of working with others and developing new strategies to provide world class service in order to meet our common goals.
I have an extensive knowledge of computer software and hardware. I am very proficient with MS Office Suite and have utilized a myriad of other proprietary and open software including various CAD programs and database management applications.
For almost 9 years I worked for the University of Phoenix, Military Division. The first four years I worked as a Military Enrollment Counselor and the final 4 years and 7 months as a Military Enrollment Manager where I mentored and inspired up to 20 Enrollment Counselors. Our primary mission was to assist active duty members, veterans and retired military personnel their spouses and children enroll in degree programs.
My resume highlights my recent education and work experience. I am a results oriented individual who has a strong presence and is self-motivated. I possess drive, initiative, ambition, independence, and I am customer service oriented. I possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. I have been heavily involved with the public, demonstrating the tact and diplomacy necessary to retain goodwill and build long-standing relationships. The challenges of a demanding and fast-paced environment are familiar and appealing to me. I perform efficiently with or without supervision and adapt readily to new situations.
