Chemical Engineer. Project: Evaluation of treatment of aquathermolytic heavy oil by means of dynamic tests in conditions of low severity.
Accomplishments
1.Designed and built a laboratory scale continuous steam injection process. The process equipment has become a vital tool employed by the company in its operations at present.
2.Successfully conducted dynamic steam injection test analysis with extra heavy Venezuelan oil to improve the wellhead condition of the oil; used reservoir sand and synthetic formation water prepared as part of the project.
3.Improved the viscosity of the oil in more than 80% and the API gravity in 10%.
4.Calculated oil recovered and amount of gas produced in this process to determine the efficiency.
