Description

Concrete is the most widely used building material now-a-days its properties greatly depend on the proportions and properties of its constituent. Concrete is used in various type of construction from the flooring of hut to a multi-storied high rise structure. It is one of the versatile heterogeneous material of cement, fine aggregate, coarse aggregate and a water. The focus of the project is to determine the Compressive strength and split tensile strength of concrete mix, with partial replacement of pozzolana cement with 30% & 35% and 40%, of ground granulated blast furnace slag(GGBS) along with crushed sand different ages. The result of both conventional concrete and ground granulated blast furnace slag(GGBS) shows that the properties of GGBS increased.

1.This report discusses on the design of hotel building at krishnagiri. The hotel building is designed by limit state method. The plan, elevation and reinforcement

2.Designs are made manually by using IS456:2000.

3.Design is based on IS 456- 2000, IS-3370-2000 part 2. And detailing was done for the structural element as per SP16

4.Concrete of grade of M20 and steel HYSD bars of grade Fe415, are used. Footings are designed as Raft footing Plan
