FTB acquired two smaller banks and they had systems running on SQL Server 2000 and SQL Server 7.0 were migrated to SQL Server 2008.As the relational data base engine was different from SQL Server 2005 and up much of the stored procedure code had to be re-written in SQL Server.

I was part of the team that is responsible for rewriting the stored procedures and tested them for performance and compatibility. Our team migrated close to 75 applications and modified around 5000 stored procedures that were deemed incompatible by Microsoft migration assistant tools.
