1. “Anti-diarrheal and anti-spasmodic activity of Acoruscalamus in mice”. Brief Summary:- Diarrhea has been induced in mice by oral gavage of castor oil; stool samples were collected and the consistency of stool was assessed. For anti-spasmodic studies small intestinal transit is measured in a time period of 30minutes by using charcoal as marker and distance travelled is measured from pyloric end to caecum.
