Master of Science- Mechanical engineering - University of Texas at Arlington. Aug 2015 - May 2017 GPA: 3.5 Bachelor of Technology- Mechanical Engineering- Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University; India. Aug 2011- Jun 2015 GPA: 3.7 TECHNICAL SKILLS:

CODE SCRIPTING: MATLAB LabVIEW SAP-ABAP

DRAFTING: SolidWorks AutoCAD CATIA

ANALYSIS: ANSYS

GRADUATE COURSE WORK: 1. Analytical Methods in Engineering 2. Computational Methods in Electronic Packaging 3. FEM 4. Dynamic System Modelling 5. Continuum Mechanics 6. Fluid Dynamics 7. Numerical Methods 8. Structural Aspects of Design 9.Si IC Fabrication 10. Thermal Conduction EXPERIENCE:

Graduate Research Assistant Microscale Thermo-physics Heat transfer Laboratory; The University of Texas at Arlington. Nov 2015 – May 2017

Thesis dissertation -‘’An improved method for measurement of the radial thermal conductivity of cylindrical bodies’’.

Validated the analytical model built using LabVIEW to monitor the parameters of the in-house built experimental set up using DAQ.

A generalized analytical model that accounts for heat loss is developed.

Appropriate radial thermal conductivity of a Li-ion 26650 cell was determined.

This improved method reduced error associated with previous method by 46%. Project Intern: Megha Engineering and Infrastructure Ltd, India. May 2014 – Aug 2014 As a part of the bachelor degree completion, I had submitted a dissertation on the design of pressure vessels.

Created a CAD model of the shell being fabricated including modeling of safety valve.

Determined necessary dimensions for a given maximum hoop stress & tangential stress for thin (D/t>20) & thick shell (D/t<20).

Documented the Non-Destructive Testing methods for the Pressure Vessel.

My Presentation received the highest score in a class of 72. Manufacturing Intern-Industrial training HMT Hindustan Machine Tools, India. May 2013 – Aug 2013

Here I had the opportunity to study many fabrication processes and machine operations like the lathe, Milling and Honing processes.

Created hollow mold entities of Aluminium using Foundry. Worked with scrap steel, steel melt processing, Heavy Ladle operations, casting.

Draft, runner path, gating, well creation and volume compensation were studied.

Injection and Blow molding of plastic bottles and flat plates were carried out here. Apprenticeship BNR Industries, Cherlapally Hyderabad, India. Feb 2012 – Mar 2013

CATIA Modeling and design of component parts.

PROJECTS AND ACCOMPLISHMENTS:

1. ‘’ Super plasticity of Binary Alloy Sn-Pb”: Guidance of Prof.M.Anjaiah of Guru Nanak Group of Institutions, Hyderabad.

A detailed study of Molding, its types; super-plasticity of materials and their micro structures (using SEM) was studied. I carried out analysis using ANSYS and SolidWorks for the same.

Successfully reduced fabrication processes of welding, finishing, and milling by adapting blow molding for alloy eutectic (60-40) Sn-Pb.

Reduced manufacturing cost by 10% for the manufacturing of the spherical dome entity. Built an in-house equipment for Blow molding. 2. A design for cost effective athlete cooling device for sporting events for my Master’s Degree Thermal Conduction class.

The suggested jacket with flowing fluid was developed using the laws of a Heat exchanger. This project was graded corresponding to the highest percentile group in a class of 80.

3. FEM Analysis projects, using NASTRAN, ANSYS and MATLAB. PAPER PUBLICATIONS AND CONFERENCE:
